Accident blamed on van bins shelving.

Posted by admin

An early morning accident on the interstate was blamed on van bins shelving. A repair van was traveling in the westbound lane, when the back door of the van came open, and a shelving unit from the van slid out onto the roadway. A car traveling behind the van was unable to avoid the unit. The driver of the car and two passengers were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated and released. The driver of the van was uninjured. Officers are investigating the accident. They plan to question the technician that installed the shelving unit in the van. The van driver reported that he had just picked the van up, from the business that he hired to equip his vehicle with the shelves, prior to the accident.
