Good fuel mileage rating

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

I finally got a cruise control installed in my car and I can’t tell what a relief it has been. I can finally zoom down the highway without worrying about how to make the car run in the best way so that I get a good Fuel Mileage Rating. The cruise control technology makes sure that the engine is working at the optimal level and it adjusts the way the car runs to ensure that your Fuel Mileage Rating is good. This helps in cutting down the fuel usage also. My mileage has increased since then and I highly recommend this.

Why It’s Important to Know Your Fuel Efficiency

Saturday, June 7th, 2008

A car’s fuel efficiency usually fits within a certain range, but there is some variance within the range that can be improved upon, if necessary. Therefore, it’s important to know how well your car is doing on gas in city as well as highway situations. By calculating gas mileage for your car, you’ll have a better idea of not only your car’s fuel efficiency, but how well your car is running in general. If your car is not getting the gas mileage that it should, that can be a red flag that there is something wrong with the car and that it needs to be looked at by a professional.

Gas Mileage Improvements The Easy Way

Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Gas mileage improvements are particularly essential if you own a gas guzzler. The fact that only 15% of the gas you put into your car actually gets used to run it would tell you how important it is to employ gas mileage improvement techniques. Changing the oil in your car regularly, keeping your car in tune, using the right grade of oil, replacing the air filter and fuel filter of your car as and when required are some of the things that you can do to keep your fuel consumption low. Rotating your tires and checking the car alignment are some other things that you can do to improve gas mileage.

Water Fueled Car.

Friday, March 28th, 2008

While scientists attempted to create the first water fueled cars in the 1990's, they have been working on perfecting this concept ever since. They hoped to find a cheap fuel source that was as efficient as regular gasoline and diesel. Work on this topic has continued ever since, and estimates are that we may see the concept produced by 2010 or 2015.

Lemon Laws

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

So I think I’ve been ripped off, and I’m going to have to look into the local lemon laws. Seriously, I’m sick and tired of businesses trying to break it off in their customers, and I’m not putting up with it any more.
I’ve been reading up on the specific Florida Lemon Laws that apply in this situation, and I have every confidence that I’m in the right, here. So that dealer’s in for a world of hurt.
One thing is for sure - I’ll never be doing business this this guy again, or anyone else at that place, for that matter.

Trailer RV Tire Covers Planned Collaboration

Monday, February 18th, 2008

The exact extent of the planned collaboration in trailer tire covers companies is still unclear, but it does point up the growing involvement of the Japanese producers in the European light commercial vehicle sector. According to the EIU report: "More West European producers are beginning to adopt the maximum if you can't beat them, join them and the second half of the 2002 is emerging as an era of joint ventures and agreements between the West Europeans and the Japanese."Japanese imports rose rapidly during the first half of the 2002 particularly in the smaller European markets, which did not impose any of the controls or so-called "voluntary" quota restrictions that have served to limit Japanese penetration of the Italian, French, and Spanish and to some extent the UK market.

Lemon Laws

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Alright, the car I just bought is a total rip-off, and it’s time to check out the local lemon laws. The dealer is telling me I’m out of luck, but I’m not about to let them foist this pig off on me.
All the Alabama Lemon Laws are on my side, here. This dealer doesn’t have a leg to stand on. I’m going to eat him for breakfast in court, and he’ll have no one but himself to blame.
Gone are the days when you could take a man at his word in business. It’s a shame that I’m forced to sue - it would cost this guy less to do the right thing, but I guess he’s hoping I’ll give up. Keep dreaming, buddy.

AVS Pop-Out Windflector

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

I drive a Mitsubishi Galant with the sunroof open most of the time since I live in Florida. The problem until recently was all the noise and annoying turbulence that came in through the sunroof while driving. So I decided that out of all the different accessories for cars, I need a windflector, and not just any, but a pop-out windflector. My AVS Pop-Out Windflector keeps light rain from entering your vehicle while moving and now I no longer hear all that noise. It's the perfect accessory for keeping wind noise and turbulence to a minimum. You'll find installing this Sunroof Deflector simple and stress-free. Installation is simple, no tools necessary, with supplied manufacturer-approved 3M two-sided acrylic tape.

Compare Auto Insurance

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

So my car insurance is about to expire, and I’m having to compare auto insurance now, because what I had before was a lousy deal. What a hassle.
I mean, I have far better things to do with my time than surf all over the net looking for Online Car Insurance Quotes.

Oh well, there’s no avoiding it. I have to save the money.
