Some Information About a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009You must file evidence of payment from employers that was received by you 60 days before filing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Along with these requirements, you also must provide a statement of your monthly income and any anticipated increase in income or expenses after you have filed. Finally, you must report any interest you have in federal or state qualified education or tuition accounts. When you file for bankruptcy, the courts are mandated to charge you $245.00 plus a $39.00 miscellaneous administrative fee and a $15.00 trustee surcharge. You will pay this amount to the clerk of the court when you file. Not paying these fees could result in the case being dismissed.
