Why I need to find a new way to dance with my wife.

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

My wife and I love dancing. Its kind of a hobby of ours. Recently she had surgery on her right elbow and we couldn’t dance like we normally dance. It was my thought we would need to relearn how to dance. I went online and looked under Dance Colleges. There were actually a few of them. I’m not sure this is what we will end up doing. I do like the idea of my wife and I learning new dances. Since we are both retired we would actually have enough time to devote to this endeavor. I think I will look into this further.

masters degree in interior design

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Though they’re often mistaken for one another, interior design and interior decoration are different disciplines. Interior decoration is a less involved process than interior as interior designers are required to be cognizant of architectural detailing such as floor plans, home renovations and construction codes. In addition to decoration, an interior designer also needs to incorporate elements of product design, architecture and environmental psychology into his work. A masters degree in interior design is considered to be a post-professional degree.  If you’re seeking to apply for direct entry into any given design school you should fist have an undergraduate degree in interior design or a substantially equivalent field.

How much Time does it take to complete a PhD Course?

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

It basically depends upon when you do the course. Generally it is people who have completed their masters’ degree who will go for the PhD courses. If you have done your post-graduation and then are applying for a PhD course with the same specialization, then you will take about three years to complete it. However, if you are trying for a PhD course with a different specialization, or if you have not completed your post-graduation, then you will need to spend more time for your doctorate degree. Usually it takes anywhere between three and six years to complete the course.

masters degree web design

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

The training required to enter the web design field is usually an associate's degree, but applicants with a bachelor in web design will have an edge over their competition. Postgraduate courses in web design are available from a number of web design schools but a graduate really should first ask themselves why they’re interested in pursuing a masters degree web design. Employers looking to take on web designers are more likely to be interested in experience than they are in advanced qualifications. However if you’re looking to teach web design at a University or college then you can almost be rest assured that the school in question will require you to have a Masters’ degree.
