Our archive of documents is rapidly approaching a point where it will be unmanageable. It’s time to institute some
management document storage standards. We need to be able to find information quickly when we need it, and our present system isn’t cutting it.
I think we ought to take a long hard look at Document Imaging Management, before we drown in the paper. It’s time to get our act together.
Of course the hardest step will be selling the management document storage standards to management. They’re going to have to fork over the money, though - I don’t see a reasonable alternative.
