Most cabling technologies are now going the Cat 6 way. In corporate setups the Cat 6 cable is being preferred over Cat 5 and even Cat 5e. This is a gigabyte cable with a processing speed of over 1 Gbps. But the best benefit is that it is designed specially to reduce crosstalk interference.
