Physician Assistant - Providing Patient Care
A physician assistant is an integral part of any medical office. This person is generally responsible for providing patient care under the watchful eye of the doctor. This may include taking vital signs when the person comes in for a consultation, taking a brief health history as well as discussing the medical issue that caused them to seek treatment now. In some medical offices, once a person has earned one of the medical assistant degrees they are also responsible for doing an examination of the patient under the watchful eye of the licensed physician.
