Motorcycle Accident

About three years ago, my parents were in a very serious motorcycle accident. A young driver backed out of her driveway without looking and slammed right into them. Mom was thrown from the bike, while Dad ended up pinned underneath. He suffered severe damage to his right hip, reporting that the only thing he remembers from immediately after the accident is seeing his foot up next to his head. Two surgeries later, he has recovered most of his movement, but he will ultimately need a hip replacement. The girl who hit him had only minimal accident insurance, so that company has paid out its maximum benefit already, even though there are more bills to be paid.
