Not too long ago, my parents decided to go with a different insurance company, because their current Homeowner’s Insurance Policy didn’t have a lot of coverage for “out of home disasters,” as my dad referred to them. They talked to several other insurance agencies and went with an agency that had what’s called an “umbrella” over everything. So if you have something very expensive that you take somewhere with you and it’s destroyed in a fire or a car accident, it would be covered. This was a huge relief because my parents travel a lot. They need something that can cover them no matter what plans they make.
